Advanced Level – Audition
 
Starliters: A highly select ensemble of treble voices, chosen by the choral directors. Starliters is
one of two show choirs, and the audition is in two parts – vocal and choreography. This
ensemble performs several times a year and does a great deal of traveling in the spring
semester to various competitions around the state and often across the nation. Being a member
of Starliters is a year-long commitment, with after-school rehearsals, etc. Some expense to
cover the cost of custom costumes, props, and other elements for producing the competition
show is necessary for membership in this ensemble. Many fundraising opportunities are
available throughout the year.

Singers Unlimited: A highly select ensemble of treble and bass voices, chosen by the choral
directors. Singers Unlimited is one of two show choirs, and the audition is in two parts – vocal
and choreography. This ensemble performs several times a year and does a great deal of
traveling in the spring semester to various competitions around the state and often across the
nation. Being a member of Singers Unlimited is a year-long commitment, with after-school
rehearsals, etc. Some expense to cover the cost of custom costumes, props, and other elements
for producing the competition show is necessary for membership in this ensemble. Many
fundraising opportunities are available throughout the year.

Introductory Level:
 
Mixed Choir: Entry-level ensemble that focuses on the development of basic music skills as well
as foundational vocal techniques. Repertoire includes musical theatre, pop, and “classical.” The
Mixed Choir performs 3-4 times each year. No audition to needed to enroll. The cost of being in
this ensemble is $50/year to cover music costs, and concert attire rental; fundraising
opportunities available in the fall and spring.
Intermediate Level – Brief Audition
 
Treble Choir: Entry-level ensemble of all treble voices that focuses on the development of basic
music skills and foundational vocal techniques, but at a somewhat accelerated pace. Repertoire
includes musical theatre, pop, and “classical.” The Treble Choir performs 3-4 times each year.
Audition is required for joining this ensemble. The cost of being in this ensemble is $50/year to
cover music costs, and concert attire rental; fundraising opportunities available in the fall and
spring.

Intermediate/Advanced Level – Audition
A-Town Select: A select ensemble of treble and bass voices chosen by the choral directors. In an
audition prospective members should demonstrate a mastery of basic skills in vocal tone
production, good tone quality, and breathing techniques. Repertoire includes madrigals, music
theatre, pop, “Classical,” and vocal jazz. The cost of being in this ensemble is $50/year to cover
music costs, and concert attire rental; fundraising opportunities available in the fall and spring.
