Hey guys! As you know, the SAT will be offered here to seniors on Wednesday, Oct. 30th. The cost is $49.50 or $8, if you qualify for free or reduced textbooks. All registrations must be prepaid, with checks, or cash, made out to AHS. Signups will take place next week, 9/9 to 9/13, in the cafeteria during all 4 lunches. SO, bring your money, and sign up, starting Monday. Remember that only seniors who sign up next week and pay in advance will be admitted, with a photo ID, to the SAT.
Anyone interested in being on the boys and girls swim teams, there will be a meeting after school or september 17th. We will be discussing conditioning workouts, as well as season dates Open swim will begin that night, so be prepared to get in the pool after the meeting. Open swims will be tuesdays, and thursdays after school until 4:00. If you have any questions, see Coach Eddy in the pool area.
Anderson High School JAG is collecting socks for the homeless in front of the JAG office from September 3rd until September 20th. Please bring new men, women, and children’s socks, and donate to a worthy cause. Again, all donations can be dropped off at the JAG office, room A180.
