Prom Guidelines

Parking Passes needed for entrance to parking lot- See Mrs. Schmidt the week before Prom for your pass
No entry after 8:00 pm
No exits before 9:00 pm
Guests must be juniors or seniors in good standing at their school, or former graduates under 21.
Guest forms are due to the deans office by Friday 4/25
Front office for guest forms
Bring completed guest form to Main Office for approval. Once approved you will be emailed.

Dress Code

Prom is a formal and special night for AHS students. We hope to maintain the integrity and formality of this night by implementing these simple Dress Code Guidelines: as such any students NOT appropriately dressed will be turned away at the door. There are hundreds of beautiful, tasteful, and appropriate dresses available for Prom. If you have questions concerning your dress, it is your responsibility to seek prior approval from the administration.

Prom is a formal event and you are expected to wear formal attire. Formal attire may be classified as a dress, dress suit, tie, bow tie, a dress shirt, dress pants, or khakis.

Dresses may not have a slit that exceeds mid-thigh.
Dresses may not be cut below the bust line.
Dresses cannot have cuts, slits in them exposing skin underneath.
Skirt of the dress MUST be to the tips of the fingers when standing normally including the slit in the skirt.
Undergarments should not be visible. See-through apparel is NOT Permitted.
Lingerie or attire resembling lingerie is not permitted
Gentlemen MUST wear slacks and a buttoned dress shirt at all times.

Discounted tickets ($40 a piece) are available until Saturday, March 22, 2025. After that tickets will be $45 a piece.
Cash tickets will be available after Spring Break for $45 a piece.
Outside Guest forms are available in the front office. Last day for approval is Friday, April 25, 2025.
- Outside guests must be current high school students at another school. They must be a current junior or senior or, an Anderson High School graduate that is under 21 years of age.

There are free prom dresses available!
The event is on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Anderson Public Library 3rd Floor.
