WINTER GUARD ANNOUNCEMENT- The Anderson High School winter guard will have try-outs when we return from fall break. Come learn the audition material on Tuesday, October 22nd from 608. The audition will then take place on Thursday, October 24th. Any student who is in 9th through 12th grade who likes to dance, perform to music, and is interested in competing at contests is welcome to come try it out and learn the audition material. No previous expeirnece is required to join winter guard. Any questions can be directed to : Mr. Geisler in the band office. The USMC roadshow is visiting the AHS campus ALL DAY this thursday! his is an excellent opportunity for students to learn the USMC mission, modern warfare technology, and a great workout! The workout will be on the football field or the marines will come to your gym class! Their tractor/trailer houses a FREE FLIGHT AND HUMVEE combat simulator! They are also providing a team and cohseion workout for any sports team or class who desires to increase esperit de corps while testing their mettle! A GREAT DAY OF FUN while learning or getting in shape!
