  • Attention all students- On Wednesday, October 30th, all sophomores and juniors will be taking the PSAT Some seniors will be taking the SAT. Consequently, all 11th grade students, and those 12th grade students taking the SAT, should report directly to AHS on Wednesday morning. After going to 1st period for attendance, all students report to an assigned location. Your teachers have the location lists; please make sure you check and know where you are supposed to report during the testing period on Wednesday. Attendance will also be taken in your assigned location. For the PSAT and SAT, you will need to bring #2 pencils, your best calculator, and a well-rested brain. The test is given via paper and pencil, and you will test all morning until lunch. AHS will be operating on an alternative schedule for the entire day to accommodate testing.

  • Dear Anderson high school family and friends. As we continue building community relationships and honoring veterans, we would like to invite any family members (parents, siblings, grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and more) of Anderson High School students, who are currently serving or having served in one of our military branches, to our honorary veterans day ceremony on November11th at 8:30 AM. A reception in the AHS cafeteria will be held prior to the ceremony. The reception will begin at 7:45 AM for all veterans and their family members in attendance. Again, this invitation is for all military persons, past or present. As this is a community honor ceremony, it is not required that military personnel be related to a student in order to attend. An interpreter will be present to assist those who are deaf or hard of hearing. We do ask that you RSVP to Laura Crenshaw at 765-641-2037, ext 8000 or at [email protected], so we can adequately prepare for the reception and seating. Please provide the name, address, and branch of service in your RSVP. Thank you for helping us to honor the brave men and women for their service to your country.
