There will be NO softball conditioning after school today
Any boys interested in being a part of this year’s swimming and diving team, practice will begin Monday, November 11th. Swimming will be from 2:45 to 4:30, and diving will be from 5:00-6:30. Also, we are still in need of girls to be a part of this year’s team. Practices for that are at 2:45-4:30
The AHS speech team completed at Southport High School on Saturday. Derek Childers placed 4th overall in original performance.
Here is your Monday Moment. In our ongoing study of the Limbic System, we have tracked brain development from back to front. The front part of our brain is where the prefrontal cortex is located. The prefrontal cortex is involved in executive function and include attention, flexibility, planning and problem solving. During the school day we need to be in our executive brain state.
