Knost makes it two boys scholars in a row for Anderson

Juggling rigorous coursework and varsity athletics is no easy task, but Anderson High School’s Isaac Knost made it look effortless. A dedicated student and athlete, Knost swam for the Indians the past two years while maintaining an outstanding academic record. His commitment in and out of the pool has earned him the 2025 THB Sports Boys Scholar Athlete Award.

Knost is the second straight winner from Anderson, following 2024’s Spencer Proctor.

Knost is the valedictorian of Anderson’s Class of 2025, graduating with a remarkable 4.978 GPA. Known for his strong work ethic and steady leadership, he approached every challenge with focus and determination. Whether preparing for a chemistry exam or a competitive swim meet, Knost gave his full effort.

Though he joined the swim team later in high school, his impact was immediate. Competing primarily in freestyle and individual medley events, he was a consistent contributor for the Indians. His discipline, time management, and willingness to push himself stood out both in practice and competition.

Knost will continue his academic and athletic journey at Anderson University, where he has committed to join the Ravens’ swim program. His future is bright, shaped by years of dedication and a mindset built for success.
