REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR! Principal Scott Shimer of Anderson High School is contacting you to emphasize the importance of completing your online registration for the 21-22 school year. We need this done as soon as possible. Updating your information is so important for multiple reasons. This updated information is utilized for financial assistance, scheduling, setting up bus information and more. When the registration has been completed your schedules with locker information can be made available as early as the 22nd of July. If you need help with registration or the use of a computer we are here to help you at AHS from 7:30 - 11:30 and 12:30 - 2:30.!!!!
PARKING PERMITS! Parking Permits for everyone!!!Parking passes will be available for Seniors on July 16th, 19th and the 20th from 9-12 and 12:30 - 2pm. You will be able to obtain your spot for your custom paint at that time as well. The cost is $30 for the year.***Seniors - Please make sure your parking spot painting/artwork is school appropriate.***Seniors - Please block off your parking spot after painting to allow time to dry. If you leave your paint cans, please make sure to come back and get them within two days or they will be removed by AHS staff so that the parking lot can be utilized.***Seniors - Please be mindful of other painted spots when driving in the lot or walking around so that you do not damage another student's painting while it is drying.You have from the 16th to the 21st to paint your spots. While painting please be mindful of traffic during these days/ time frame.Underclassmen can purchase their parking passes on Wed the 21st and Thursday the 22nd at the same times listed above. The 27th will be also available for Permits if you can not make the times listed above. Students are not allowed to be in the building on the days listed except for in the attendance office where the Permits are purchased. Please enter through the attendance office door when entering the building to purchase permits. You will need your vehicle registration, drivers license or permit and $30 cash or check made to Anderson community schools.

Congratulations Rube Goldberg! Congratulations to the AHS Rube Goldberg Machine Team for being awarded 2nd place for this year's National Contest!This year's event was totally online and marks the third time AHS has earned top awards at the national level (2018 second place, 2012 third place).The team of six students created a 32 step machine that would "Shake and Pour a Box of NERDS Candy."The team also earned a special recognition for "Most Creative Use of a Lamp" sponsored by the Sylvania company.The team is proud to represent AHS and the Anderson community.Mr. Perrel would like to recognize the students for all the hard work during a difficult school year.
