Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! Anderson High School accomplished many great things during the 2018-2019 school year. The Class of 2019 earned over $5 million dollars in scholarship money. We also achieved a 93.8% graduation rate for the Class of 2018. We are working hard to continue building a comprehensive academic curriculum at AHS. We are looking forward to bringing back French as one of our foreign language classes. Also, we are excited to be adding more PLTW classes to our curriculum. We have added Cybersecurity and Computer Science classes to the curriculum. We are also excited to be adding the Freshman Academy to the high school to provide our freshman students with the help and support they will need to be successful in high school. Also, we are very excited about the new construction that will be going on at AHS. They will be starting with the auxiliary gym, the new classrooms, the weight room, and the band room. We are very thankful to the community for supporting the schools to do all of these great and exciting projects. Also, things are going very well at the Career Center and students are leaving the high school and Career Center with the skills that they need to be successful after they graduate from high school. We will see you on July 31st for the first day of school.
