The 4th Annual Madison County Welcome to College Gala will take place on April 18th at the Ivy Tech Community College located at 815 E. 60th Street in Anderson Indiana from 6-8pm.
Each student that completes an application before or during the event will be entered into a drawing for one of the numerous Anderson campus scholarships provided by our community partners!
Dinner will be catered by Sahm's of Pendleton, entertainment by a live band, and tours of the Anderson campus will be just a few of the highlights.

Dear parent/guardian,



Since active weather season is upon us, we want to make you aware of the plans and procedures for weather related closures for the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year at the secondary level. We currently have one more built-in eLearning Day available that will serve as a makeup day on Presidents’ Day, if needed. After that, we are planning to utilize on-demand eLearning Days for snow related make-up days. This means that students will have the ability to complete work on the same day that school is cancelled in most cases. There will be no more than two eLearning Days in a row. In the occurrence of an ice storm with widespread power outages, school will be cancelled and an in-school make-up day will be scheduled.



When an on-demand eLearning Day is utilized, this will be communicated through School Messenger, as well posted on ACS social media sites and media outlets using the words “eLearning Day.” Teachers will have their lessons for the day posted to the Canvas Learning Management system by 10:00 a.m. After posting the day’s lesson, teachers will monitor their email during regular school hours and provide responses to students/parents in a timely manner. Students will be given one week to complete assignments. Assignments will be graded in the same manner as if students were in school.
